Ascentia is a Contract Research Organization (CRO) specializing in the discovery and development of small-molecule compounds. Our operations are built on two pillars: providing research and development services, and synthesizing building blocks used in medicinal chemistry. These form the foundation for the company’s organic growth, which remains the focus of our efforts.
Our services include:
- Synthesis of building blocks – from milligrams to 1 kilogram, including fragments for FBDD, unique building blocks with high sp³ carbon content, heterocycle derivatives, and amino acids.
- Comprehensive biological testing – from in vitro assays to in vivo models, including affinity measurements (SPR, DSF) and mechanism-of-action studies.
- Flexible collaboration models – ranging from individual syntheses to full research programs, tailored to the client’s needs.

Our team consists of experienced experts—every member holds a PhD and has many years of experience in medicinal chemistry and cell biology. We integrate chemical (organic synthesis, peptide synthesis), computational (cheminformatics), and biological expertise into a single, streamlined process, allowing us to provide comprehensive support at every stage of a project.
As a small, agile organization, we can make quick decisions and respond flexibly to changes in a project. We take on tasks that larger CROs often consider too risky or niche, while offering competitive costs and direct access to the experts involved in the project.
In addition to providing CRO services, we also run our own research and development projects and are building a library of unique building blocks with high sp³ carbon content. We collaborate with research institutes and universities, continuously expanding our know-how and enabling us to offer clients the latest solutions.
