Uncover how Ascentia is advancing small molecule therapeutics by targeting the root causes of complex diseases.

Ascentia’s research program is focused on the identification and development of small molecule modulators targeting underexplored membrane-bound receptors, representing a promising class of therapeutic targets in antifibrotic and anticancer drug discovery.

At Ascentia, we have identified severalctransmembrane receptors currently undergoing functional validation to assess their disease relevance (i.e. their involvement in key signaling pathways related to fibrosis and tumorigenesis) and druggability.

By leveraging in-silico tools — including structure-based virtual screening, pharmacophore modeling, molecular dynamics simulations, and AI-supported hit expansion — we significantly reduce the number of compounds requiring synthesis and testing. This accelerates early-stage discovery, enabling us to progress efficiently from hit identification and SAR-driven lead optimization to the selection of high-quality development candidates suitable for preclinical advancement.
